It’s Our Time!
Paperboy Love Prince is a Brooklyn-based activist, community organizer, rapper, entertainer, artist, + the list goes on. After years of being a public figure, Paperboy finally decided it was time to get some branding done. When we first sat down to discuss what branding could look like for a huge entertainer such as themself, it was a challenge to talk about their activity in fashion, sports, politics, and art and how that can come together as one visual logo. We discussed the power of a simple, futuristic logo that can be easily identified, playing around with the double P’s and their most consistent value: Love.

Research + Early Concepts
Initial concepts consisted of exploring bold, simple typography, and an icon that was representative of Paperboy as a whole: a human that spreads love. The heart was an obvious visual to play around with, but I also wanted to visualize the Gameboy that Paper consistently wears as a necklace. They talk a lot about the future and technology, so I wanted to play around with visuals that were rooted in a digital feel.
